Permethrin Soap – Permethrin Soap is a member of the pyrethroid class. It is an anti-parasite medication used to treat infections brought on by mites, lice, and eggs. It is primarily used to treat scabies and pediculosis. Lice infestation in the hairy areas of the body, particularly the scalp, is known as pediculosis. 

Mites are the cause of skin infections known as scabies. When two people come into physical contact, it can spread from one to the other. Rashes and chronic itching in the affected area are common in patients with pediculosis and scabies, and they worsen at night.

Permethrin is an antiparasitic medication found in Permisafe 1% Soap. It eliminates scabies-causing mites and their eggs. Additionally, it eliminates head lice, which irritate your scalp by adhering to it.

Directions for Use

This soap is only for external use, and use this soap as recommended by your doctor. Cream/Ointment: Apply a tiny bit to the fingertip and spread it thinly over the dry, clean affected area. Steer clear of the eyes and nose. 

Rinse these areas well with water if you come into accidental contact with them. If your hands are not in the afflicted area, wash them both before and after using them to stop the infection from spreading.

Soap: It can be used as prescribed by a healthcare provider or in place of ordinary soap or shampoo when taking a bath.
